When you become a member of Arnould’s Gym you must adhere to the following rules. Failure to do so could result in your membership being terminated.
INDUCTION
- When you join, all members will be asked if they would like an induction to instruct them on the use of the gym equipment. You are strongly advised to undertake this. Arnould’s Gym Limited will not accept any responsibility /liability for any claim for personal injury if you use the gym equipment having not undertaken an induction from a qualified member of staff at Arnould’s Gym Limited.
- Induction bookings can be made at the reception.
- If you are unsure of how to use any piece of equipment you must seek advice from a qualified member of Arnould’s Gym Ltd staff before using the equipment.
- When you are issued with your fob to access the gym, you must keep it safe. If misplaced, your fob will be deactivated and you will be charged £15 for a replacement.
GENERAL RULES
- Correct clothing must be worn when exercising i.e. suitable and comfortable exercise clothing and appropriate footwear. Clothing such as jeans, flip-flops/sandals, boots or work wear are not permitted. Any member not wearing suitable attire may be asked to leave the gym.
- You must not use the gym whilst under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, tranquilizers or any medication or other substance which may affect your ability to exercise safely. We reserve the right to remove you from the premises if we reasonably believe you are under in influence of any of the above or are unfit to use our Gym.
- You must put your weights back in their original place when finished.
- You must only use the lockers for the duration of their training session. Lockers will be emptied at night and members items removed to lost property.
- Please do not misuse the Gym equipment, if you do, this may result in your membership being terminated.
- You must not behave in an aggressive, abusive, anti-social or threatening manner to any staff or other member, any one doing so will have their membership terminated immediately and we reserve the right to contact the Police if they feel it is necessary.
- You are solely responsible for your own belongings whilst at Arnould’s Gym. Arnould’s accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property.
- Smoking, including e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited in all areas of Arnould’s Gym. Any member found to be breach of this rule may have their membership terminated.
- Members may not bring any pets (other than official aid dogs) into Arnould’s Gym.
